Your Checklist for FACHPACK 2024

FACHPACK 2024 is just around the corner: here are a few useful tips to ensure that your visit to the trade fair runs smoothly and efficiently – from easy travel to practical services on site to interactive hall plans and a diverse programme of lectures.

Visitors flock to the entrance of Fachpack, where a large sign welcomes them. FACHPACK has put together some important tips for a stress-free and successful trade fair visit.

FACHPACK 2024 opens its doors from 24 to 26 September and it's high time to prepare for your visit. The trade fair has put together some important tips for planning on the website to ensure that your visit is both informative and stress-free.

Before you make your way to Nuremberg, the first thing you should do is secure a FACHPACK ticket. There are several ticket options available on the FACHPACK website, such as day and season tickets, depending on how long you plan to stay. This means you have already taken the most important step and can prepare your journey.

How to Plan Your Journey

The Exhibition Centre Nuremberg is easy to reach both by car and by public transport. The underground line U1 from the main railway station to the ‘Messe’ stop is particularly convenient for visitors travelling by train. Air travellers can use the Albrecht Dürer Airport in Nuremberg, which is around 20 minutes away from the exhibition centre.

Drivers can reach the exhibition grounds via the A3, A6, A9 and A73 motorways. Signposting on the motorways shows the way to the well-developed feeder roads. The “Dynamic Traffic Guidance System and Parking Guidance System Exhibition Centre/Stadium/Arena” continuously determines the current traffic load on the access roads around the exhibition centre and guides you to free traffic routes and to your parking space – one of 13,500 parking spaces at the exhibition centre.

The Exhibition Centre Nuremberg also offers 19 charging stations, each with two AC charging points, spread over five different areas, to conveniently charge your electric vehicle. This offer is complemented by the ultra-modern Audi charging hub, which provides additional charging options with its reservable fast charging points (DC). Here you can charge your electric vehicle quickly and efficiently to stay mobile at all times.

Orientation in the Exhibition Halls

For a successful FACHPACK visit, it makes sense to think in advance about which exhibitors and events you absolutely want to visit. The best way to do this is to use the exhibitor and product directory on the trade fair website. Companies can be easily filtered by product category, industry, company type and country and saved in a watch list. This makes it easier to focus on specific exhibitors and arrange targeted meetings in advance. It is advisable to browse the exhibitors by category in order to familiarise yourself not only with the large companies, but also with smaller, innovative start-ups.

For the first time this year, an interactive hall plan will also make it even easier and more efficient to navigate through the exhibition halls. You can also enter personal highlights or individual tours here so that you don't miss any important innovations.

Don't Miss Presentations and Forums

FACHPACK offers a wealth of presentations and discussions in the PACKBOX, TECHBOX and SOLPACK 5.0 forums. These events are a unique opportunity to learn about current and future trends directly from industry experts. Schedule these presentations into your diary to ensure you can take away valuable insights.

In addition to the presentations, there are numerous special shows, dedicated forums award ceremonies at FACHPACK, such as the German Packaging Award, which offer exciting insights and inspiration. You should also make a note of these programme items. They often offer innovative solutions and creative approaches that can help you in your day-to-day work.

Visitor Services and Infrastructure on Site

FACHPACK provides a wide range of services to make your visit to the trade fair as pleasant as possible. For example, the trade fair offers a WiFi infrastructure that can be used free of charge to access important information at any time. Catering during the trade fair is also taken care of: numerous catering outlets are located on the exhibition grounds, offering a varied selection of food and drinks.

You should also plan to take a breather and use your visit to FACHPACK for a trip to Nuremberg's historic city centre. The FACHPACK exhibition team has some personal insider tips.
