Women4Packaging
The networking event for women in the packaging industry
The event took place on the first day of FACHPACK 2024 and offered a unique opportunity to network on site, inspire each other and exchange views on current topics and trends in the packaging industry.
The aim of the networking event was to intensify contact between women in the industry and get them talking to each other in a relaxed atmosphere. In the run-up to FACHPACK 2024, we already took up the topic digitally in our news portal FACHPACK360° with our series ‘Women in the packaging industry’.

Voices from the industry:
‘The exchange with other women inspires through diverse life models. Together, we can break new ground and question social conventions.’
‘Especially as a young woman & career starter, the male-dominated packaging industry can be overwhelming. It is therefore important for women to share their experiences in order to learn from them, start their careers with more self-confidence and thus create a lasting impact.’
‘A strong network among women is a space for mutual support and growth. It not only creates connections and possibly friendships, but also new opportunities, inspiration and paths to success.’
‘Strong connections create opportunities that would not be achievable alone. The mutual exchange enriches both sides with new perspectives and opportunities.’
‘The packaging industry is phenomenal, not only because the content and the tasks are always new and incredibly exciting, but also because there is a phenomenon in this industry that, despite its growth, it feels small, manageable and almost familiar. The best basis for a strong network, which we as ‘Women4Packaging’ can now utilise and expand in a targeted manner!’
‘Let's face the challenges of the world of work with courage and determination. We have room for manoeuvre that we can use individually and in our networks to bring about lasting positive change in the (working) world.’
