After-Work Party: This Is also Part of FACHPACK

A great atmosphere after a long day: on the second day of the fair, around 1200 people celebrated in the evening at the FACHPACK after-work party. The cover band Barbed Wire ensured a full dance floor with a rousing show.

People at long tables applaud and celebrate. The atmosphere at the tables was also exuberant and the rousing show on stage moved everyone.

When the last visitors left the exhibition halls at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, it was the end of the day for the exhibitors and, for many of them, the start of the #after-work party, which has long been part of the trade fair tradition. The tables were festively decorated, bottles of Franconian plum liqueur and funny FACHPACK stickers were part of the decoration and were also gladly unpacked. There was no dress code, no speeches, no program. Instead, there was a sumptuous buffet with all kinds of delicacies – without any packaging.

Show Band Made the Hall Go Wild

The highlight was the show band Barbed Wire from Tauberbischofsheim, which created a great party atmosphere with a perfect stage performance and a wide repertoire of cover songs.

From “Westerland” to “Shut up and Dance”: the songs were well-known and the guests at the tables had no trouble moving. But the band members called for people to get up.

The dance floor in front of the stage was quickly conquered by the Palm Verpackung team – recognizable by the logos on their outerwear.

The eight full-blooded musicians, who changed their outfits and roles several times, got the room going. Whether in hip-hop look or rocker style, the musicians put on a rousing show also thanks to the elaborate stage design and lighting effects.

Earplug Box Remained Full

Those who found the rock show too loud could use earplugs - but very few made use of this offer. As a quieter alternative, there was the opportunity to socialize in the restaurant rooms. For many guests, this was also an opportunity to catch up with colleagues across company boundaries or to exchange one or two anecdotes from the past. So, there was also a lot of laughter. Especially in and around the photo box: colleagues grabbed crazy hats, oversized glasses, or other accessories to reinvent themselves as a team – lasting memories of FACHPACK 2024.
