The one-piece flat corrugated board blank provides for 4-sided edge protection, which is integrated in the blank in the form of press-in tabs and is erected by the system. A viewing window can optionally be integrated into the completely gapless packaging. High format flexibility, supported by intuitive and fast changeover, characterizes this line. The formation of a high-performance packaging line is possible at any time by extending the packaging line with a feeding system as well as palletizing.
& packer for batch size 1The focus of this concept is on a fully automated packaging process of products for batch size 1. The data of the individually incoming boards are read by process control systems, barcodes, etc. and forwarded to a board cutting machine. Based on this data, two blanks (base and lid) are individually produced from continuous boards, perforated at the appropriate points, punched and then erected fully automatically. The 4-sided edge protection is ensured by bumpers which are erected during the folding process. The products are also inserted into the base fully automatically, the lid is put on and the packages are sealed. The applied tear strip allows the closed package to be opened easily by hand.
