PackAssistant supports the planning of container filling with identical parts using 3D data sets (CAD). By taking full account of the component geometries, even complex parts can be packed in such a way that they take up as little space as possible.

Packing instructions and 3D CAD output
PackAssistant provides the planner with informative 3D images as packaging instructions and thus creates an ideal basis for creating customised quotations. The customer receives a complete visualisation of their future components in the planned packaging structure. Previously, such visualised results were only possible with complex drawings or graphics.
The packaging instructions can be output as a Microsoft Excel or Word document. The templates for the packaging instructions can be customised to the requirements of each company.
In addition, the results can be output as CAD data sets in JT (*.jt), STEP (*.stp, *.step) and VRML (*.wrl) formats. This enables an even clearer presentation of the optimisation results, which can be attached to the packaging instruction if required. Sections and views of the packaging result can be generated using 3D viewer software.
