Papair is a young company from Hanover. We develop technologies for the production of sustainable packaging materials. With the first of these technologies, we produce PapairWrap, the bubble wrap made of paper. PapairWrap is made entirely of paper and can be used as a substitute for conventional plastic bubble wrap in the vast majority of cases. Using a special process, we can combine an embossed and a smooth paper web without the use of plastics or adhesives. PapairWrap is a mono-material that is fully recyclable and biodegradable. Depending on the product, it consists of up to 100% recycled paper. We are committed to a world without unnecessary plastic waste. By using PapairWrap, companies can easily fulfil sustainability requirements in the packaging sector. PapairWrap also fulfils end customers' desire for less plastic in parcels. The technology and the two-layer PapairWrap are registered for an international patent. We produce at our own plant in Lower Saxony. For us, sustainability does not end with the product. We produce locally and source our raw materials from Germany and Europe. We are continuously expanding our product range and increasing our production capacities.
Our product developments now include
- PapairWrap rolls 35 mm and 800 mm wide
- PapairWrap Plus - two-ply PapairWrap with water and oil-repellent coating
- PapairBag - padded bags in customised sizes
- PapairSheet - blanks in customised sizes
All products are available in single-layer or double-layer versions.A new addition to the range is PapairFill - padded bags filled with shredded waste cardboard.
