Wood in mechanical engineering - tradition meets innovation!
We develop and manufacture innovative, sustainable solutions from modern wood materials for demanding applications in logistics and mechanical engineering. Our products replace conventional steel load carriers. The use of wood creates a weight reduction of up to 50% with the same load capacity. We attach great importance to an intelligent design that is adapted to the application. The precisely fitting development of the load carriers allows us to significantly increase the filling level by cleverly arranging the transported goods in the wagon. By using transport solutions (transport trolleys & other containers) made of wood, our customers improve their CO2 balance. At the same time, the significant weight reduction and the higher density of goods reduce transport and investment costs. The material wood naturally has numerous properties that are advantageous for technical use. These include the lower risk of electrostatic discharge (ESD), electromagnetic compatibility, component protection and corrosion protection. Wood also reduces noise and vibrations.
We combine all of these characteristics in innovative and resource-saving solutions. The modular structure of our transport trolleys with plug-in connections allows our customers to react to changes in the process in a relaxed manner. If this or the goods being transported change, it only takes a few steps to install a new structure on the transport trolley - thanks to the plug-in system without screws. With the aim of establishing a new logistics standard, we support our customers in ecological, economic and social terms. But we also see our social task in keeping the material in the value chain for as long as possible. Obsolete products are dismantled and made fit for new tasks. We give our leftover materials to school projects; it is conceivable that the chips could be used for 3D printing. Only when there are no more options do we add leftovers to the energy industry.
