Product information

KOCH RobotDestackingCenter is the first universal, fully automated depalletizing system for solid and corrugated cardboard worldwide. It was originally developed by AVIRO GmbH & Co KG. The system was specifically designed to bridge the gap between punching machines and folder-gluers. This enables manufacturers to bring their gluing machines up to a higher speed level.

The heart of the system is an ABB's IRB 6700 industrial robot, which is characterised by its robustness and flexibility. With a payload of up to 300 kilograms, the robot is able to handle even heavy stacks of blanks: Gripping stacks, turning them, placing them on the conveyor line - the robot can run continuously without taking a break or changing grippers.

By using KOCH RobotDestackingCenter, you can increase the speed of your gluing machines by an average of 20 percent and optimise your production processes. With three systems already in operation and well over 2.5 million processed stacks, the system has established itself as a reliable and efficient solution in cardboard processing.
