The new module with integrated sphere design makes it possible to convey or transfer goods in any direction. This multidirectional conveying option opens up completely new applications in transportation and handling. The sphere module makes it possible to change the direction of the transported goods during conveying. Sorting and diverting in any direction can now be achieved without the use of guide rails. It is also possible, for example, to combine different product flows on the module; single or multi-track flows can also be set up.The option to rotate parts on the module is interesting. All angles and positions are possible here. Or even the correction of products that are not optimally aligned. The new modular belt also offers advantages in the area of packaging: Alignment to packaging systems is just as possible as the timing of transported goods by regulating the distances between products on the module.

To realize the numerous options offered by the HabasitLINK M2483 modular belt, sphere bearings have been integrated directly into the modules instead of just being part of the individual snap-in connections. Thanks to this design, the module is more stable in operation. The spheres in the module are driven by one or more separate activation belts that run under the module. The stable module design also ensures that the tensile strength is very high. The closed design makes it difficult for dirt or other contaminants to enter. As a result, the movement of the spheres is not affected and the module remains functional.
