Multilayer self-adhesive labels, also known as multilayer labels, are frequently used when the available space for labeling on the product is insufficient. However, many do not have dispensing devices for self-adhesive labels and are therefore still reliant on wet-glue labels.
For this reason, we have leveraged our experience in the self-adhesive label sector and, in collaboration with partner companies, developed fully functional multilayer wet-glue labels. These labels can be processed like regular wet-glue labels with glue or alternatively with hot glue from the stack.
The multilayer wet-glue label is most commonly seen on pet food products. This industry recognized the advantage in can labeling early on and frequently uses multilayer labels on 200g, 400g, and 800g cans. Other companies use the labels, for example, for labeling spray cans. The application range of these labels is vast and can be used in any industry where standard wet-glue labels are already in use.
For the user, handling is very simple. A pull tab allows for easy opening and closing of the wet-glue label. Even after multiple openings and closings, the functionality remains intact and your product still looks good.
For your logistics, a multilayer wet-glue label also offers many advantages. You can include multiple languages in one label, allowing you to make just one filling for larger regions. Depending on demand, you can then send your product directly from the warehouse to the respective country. Before the multilingual solution, it was often necessary to make a separate filling for each country with corresponding quantities.
