Located in Hamburg, Eurofins Consumer Product Testing (CPT) GmbH specialises in testing articles intended for direct consumer contact. This includes consumer products such as food contact materials (FCM), plastic and paper packaging (including their components such as printing inks, varnishes, coatings, adhesives, ect.), kitchenware, cosmetics, detergents and hygiene products.

Our team of experts provides clear, cost-effective and practical test plans. We also offer customised solutions and, upon request, are happy to consider individual specifications and requirements. Afterwards, the analytical results are assessed according to their compliance with relevant legal requirements (national, European and international) as well as recommendations from the relevant authorities, such as the BfR (German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment). In doing so, we are able to offer a wide range of analyses including laboratory tests, usability tests, and consumer studies, etc.
