NetBag was created in line with the idea developed by the European Parliament to reduce the excessive consumption of plastic bags. If plastic bags end up in the environment, they get caught in trees and bushes or end up in bodies of water. Animals often mistake plastic bags and microplastics for food; it can harm or even kill them.
It is almost impossible to completely eliminate the use of shirt carrier bags as packaging for loose food in supermarkets. Alternatives offered have not yet become established as they are not always suitable for all applications and do not necessarily have a better environmental footprint than plastic bags. In addition, some of them are more expensive or less practical for the consumer.
For this reason, we have spent a long time researching, developing and tinkering: The result is our NetBag, an all-round visible bag that is environmentally friendly and perfect for use in supermarkets - also from a hygiene perspective. It makes it possible to protect the goods inside and still make them clearly visible from the outside, so that the type and quantity of goods can be quickly and easily identified at any time.
Our currently developed product is made of paper, but solutions made of non-woven fabric or natural fibres are also conceivable. In any case, we are in the process of creating an alternative that is fully recyclable and no longer pollutes our environment and is industrially recyclable.
