Interview with CUTX - Innovative Safety Knives from Solingen

Editor: CUTX is making a name for itself with innovative safety knives. What is it that makes your products so special?

CUTX: Our CUTX Safety Knives feature an innovative design that ensures maximum safety. This significantly reduces the number of injuries when handling cutting tools. For example, in the MIDI safety class, the blade is only fixed when it is under pressure during cutting. When the blade leaves the material to be cut, it automatically retracts into the housing.

Editor: Sustainability is becoming more and more important. How does CUTX deal with it?

CUTX: Sustainability is an integral part of our corporate philosophy. At our production facility in Solingen, Germany, we strive to conserve resources through short transportation distances and the use of renewable energy. All CUTX Safety Knives in our standard gray range are made from 95% recycled plastic and are already designed to be optimally prepared for the recycling process. We use a minimum number of materials and have completely eliminated two-component plastics that are difficult to separate.

Editor: What about changing the blade? Users are often afraid of hurting themselves.

CUTX: With our safety knives, we offer "the joy of cutting". That is why changing blades is safe and easy. The blade holder can be opened and the blade changed quickly without additional tools.

Editor: What is the outlook for CUTX in the next couple of years?

CUTX: Our customers are our focus and we work hard every day to make their businesses and operations easier and safer with sustainable safety knives.
