The in-house R&D department at STOMMPY in Italy works day by day to further develop our products in order to continue to meet the current needs and increasing demands of our customers in the future. In times of digitalization and optimization in many areas of the company, STOMMPY has developed the patented S.M.A.R.T. SYSTEM®, which turns impact protection systems from a passive to an active protective device. The condition of the bollards can be checked from any PC or laptop through an app. This function allows to locate damage quickly and efficiently, and also helps with the analysis of the infrastructure in the company. For example, employees can be better trained and processes in the company can be optimized.

The newly developed SMART swing gate ensures that the safety of employees and visitors on the designated sidewalks is optimized in mixed-traffic areas. Vehicles approaching the swing gate are detected and the swing door is automatically locked to protect pedestrians if they can't walk in in safety conditions.
