SOMIC 434 - the innovations: The modular arrangement of the individual stations in the stainless steel frame offers a consistently tidy structure in the machine. This creates optimum conditions for future expansions. The collecting and grouping unit is connected to the cartoning unit in a separate frame construction - this supports the flexibility of the machine when changing packaging concepts.In addition to flexibility, the new machine also offers another plus in terms of user-friendliness: the majority of format changeovers are carried out automatically at the touch of a button on the HMI. The few remaining format parts can be carried out quickly and without tools using our SOMIC QuickChange system. This means that the SOMIC 434 can save up to 70% of the time required for format changeovers compared to the previous model. Unhindered access to the interior of the machine and perfect ergonomic working conditions are provided by the inwardly positioned support structure of the frame, which accommodates the function groups. This is supported by an opening angle of 180° for the doors, which allows complete use of the space around the machine.
